In very urban areas how much do small decks add to the value of condo(think enough room for a couple of chairs and a grill). 10k? 50k? Or not much at all 1br or 2br
Im in jersey city.

Next to nothing. Not many condos would let you add a deck.

I don't think OP is thinking of adding a deck, but rather figuring out how much of a premium a buyer would be willing to pay for a unit that has one.

Private outdoor space in the NY metro area definitely carries a premium. And if the building allows grills, even better. Plus, if we're talking high floor with a view of the Statue of Liberty or Empire State Building, I imagine that premium could potentially be significant.
