Sounds like the OP wants tax rate based on square feet, or size, or something other than sale value. It does not happen that way.

I actually thought Illinois was highest in the country for property taxes as it has been stated several times on Fox News Chicago, but this article shows Illinois as #2. It could be though because the article is dates March 2016, so Illinois could very well be #1.
