The realtor that I'm using to buy my condo messed up several things on the contract. I had to send it back to her three times for her to get everything right. In my e-mail correspondence with her, she has multiple grammatical and spelling errors. I seriously wonder if she even graduated from high school.
That is not counting the fact that she was half an hour late to my showing. After waiting around for while, I called her up and she told me that she was shopping at Wal-mart and would come by shortly. Okay, why didn't she let me know ahead of time instead of having me standing outside in front of the condo, waiting for her shopping trip to end?
Dealing with such idiotic and unprofessional behavior makes me want to become a realtor because I know I would do a much better job.

What kind of moron does it take to pick a moron to represent them? It is not like we are assigned to clients, you pick us, not the other way around. Try being more selective next time.
If the OP is the buyer and the agent represents the seller, OP doesn't really have a choice. Not sure if that's the case?
You are working a misconception There is no normal case where you would have to deal with the seller's agent. You get a Buyer's Agent who represents you and only you...
When we were stuck with our dud he was assigned to us by the broker. The agent we signed up with told us all paperwork had to be in the brokers name. Then she left the agency and we were given a moron much like the OP describes.

This is another reason I say you should always require an escape clause in any buyers agency agreement.
I just find it interesting that someone who chooses the screen name "statisticsnerd" can't figure out that his/her experience with ONE agent doesn't justify a thread title of "Why are SO MANY...?"
I never took stats but I do understand the difference between one and many.
