Survey for townhouse in TX (state, HOA, buyer, buy)

I am selling my townhouse in Garland TX.
Do I need a survey?

YOU don't need a survey. The buyer doesn't NEED a survey, either, but he may want one. His call.

A Plat Plan should be sufficient. If the buyer wants a survey, have them pay for such.

Don't know anything about TX real estate, but a public record of survey would suffice in CA.

With my townhouse in my HOA, I don't own the land so no survey is required.
