No the kitchen isn’t modern but I think it’s fine. Mine isn’t much different and I’m fine with it. My cousin checked it out and said it was too small and outdated. It’s duplex with no association and I think it’s nice. It’s a good neighborhood and the best option in her price range to be able to keep her son and daughter in the school district.

Limited counter space but not everyone has the same ideas about working in a kitchen. Looks like a bright space, high ceilings from what I can see. Ultimately it is up to the person who is looking to make it their home though.
It looks nice! Yeah, a little dated, but so what? If it’s priced well it will move. Keep it clean and keep the exterior and landscaping looking its best (clean the windows and siding if you haven’t already) and call it good.
I can see her concerns. It’s not just that it’s outdated, but it doesn’t look like there is a microwave and it also looks like it’s a single sink which means if she wanted to get a double, she’d have to expand and would lose even more counter and storage space. It’s just not a very functional layout. With the money she’d have to spend to get it to something usable, she might be able to spend a bit more to get something better.
It looks nice but I don't see how a townhouse can have no HOA fees. Oh it's half a duplex so I guess you have to take care of your half as a house.
and the taxes are really high, if it goes up due to a reassessment after your purchase it will be bad. It's already over $500 a month in taxes and the current assessment price is less than $65K https://www.realtor.com/realestatean...-79545#photo15 I looked here because i like the layout better and couodn't find your square footage.
What I don't like is the single car garage and one space to park in the driveway for a 3/2,

It’s just a residential street with duplexes. 3 Streets are duplexes and all the other streets in that development are single family homes. No common areas. No association.

Then why is it a condo and not a single family home with its own lot. Doesn't make sense.
