That house is amazing and I love the antique furniture. I'd decorate my home similarly if I had the budget. To each their own! Some rooms are a little cluttered, but it's not a hoarder house full of dirty junk by any means.
As someone who has dealt with a family member's clutter that is the result of dysfunction and mental illness, I wouldn't even really call this clutter. Just more of a Victorian decorating style.
It's not cluttered at all -- it's DECORATED in a particular style (country style) that clearly doesn't appeal to some of you. That's fine, but it should be easy to look past the decor since the house is clean and you can see a LOT of beautiful details (like the molding, built-ins, and stained glass windows).
I like the house a lot, and the decorating style (although my own style has WAY less "stuff"). I don't like things like the oven next to the refrigerator, but that's another issue!
I expected some hoarder's haven, but that is a nice, neat, well kept home. Yes, lots to dust, but obviously they do.
Side note: OMG I can't believe how inexpensive that house is!

How I love these great old Craftsman-style four-squares, with broad eaves. (Try to find any kind of "eaves" in a new build!)
Though the sellers' taste in decorating is certifiably execrable, at least they had the sense not to paint over the oak woodwork, like many a moron would. Be grateful for that.
The house does look clean and well kept to me. Where I cringe is when I think about having to pack up alllllll that stuff.
True, but ... it's not our stuff, so we don't have to worry about it!
And anyone with collections like that would probably consider it a labor of love. That's a lifetime of collecting.

I would, too, but moreso to keep curious people from handling stuff that isn't theirs.

I found when DH and I downsized how many buyers were focused on the superficial (light fixtures, appliance colors) and not the replacement windows, all the "popcorn" ceiling crap I stripped off
How would anyone know that you'd stripped popcorn from the ceiling ... since it's gone?
