We do have a parking law here. Its says no cars on the grass in front of the house. If you throw out a pick up truck full of gravel it becomes a parking pad and is legal. I got a city notice one time because an old car parked in the driveway had a flat tire, I fixed the tire and called up the code enforcement guy. I told him the old car was a valuable restoration project and to not worry about it because it was not a junk car,,,

I live here and know for sure it is. Our sanctuary city sheriff has been on the national news several times for the disservice he has done to our city. Also many news stories about the problems ICE has trying to do its job here... Yes indeed Charlotte is one of the worse sanctuary cities,,,,,,,,,,,things are going to change though.

It appears you may be jealous of your neighbors because they can pay others to maintain and improve their properties. Don’t worry. If they were bad people they would try to force YOU out. Sounds like everyone else is just taking care of their own selves. Relax, all will be fine.

Nope. Just our state's resident troll poster who is hyper-obsessed with denouncing "sanctuary cities" and whomever he decides is "an illegal".

No, it's not.

If you're going to ask questions about what's legal, start with the basics of what's accurate.

This article seems to disagree with you:

Quote:
Is Charlotte NC a sanctuary city?
There is no formal legal definition of a sanctuary city. But by most accepted definitions, Charlotte is not a sanctuary city. The following major cities are generally regarded as sanctuary cities: New York City. Chicago. Los Angeles. Philadelphia. Detroit.

Fake news and bias "reports" from unknown wantabee experts dont mean 5 cents...To get back to the topic it is about a citizen who highly suspects that his neighbors have been hiring "undocumented workers" and is offended by it. He wants to punish the offenders because of it but has to do it legally... thanks fans for the comments..

Which has nothing to do about real estate. Review your local ordinances.

Maybe you missed the part of the article that confirmed that Charlotte is not a sanctuary city.
