We are considering moving to a smaller house closer to town, and I was wondering, would a sensor faucet for the kitchen increase the value of our home? I have been looking at the Moen MotionSense faucets on Amazon, and if we go that route, we can move our existing Delta pull-down faucet to the laundry room sink. I just wonder if this makes any sense for increasing home value.
I previously did a thread asking about showerheads and consensus was that it wouldn't increase home value by much, so besides the Delta In2Ition in our master bathroom and the Moen Engage with Magnetix in the secondary bathroom, we will probably leave the showerhead in the guest bathroom alone.
However, would a sensor faucet in the kitchen increase home value, with the existing pull-down kitchen faucet being moved to the laundry room sink?

No. To increase the overall value, you have to look "big picture," as in if it were a so-called smart-technology home with upgraded tech features throughout.
A couple of random faucets won't make a differece.
Only ask if it will DECREASE value. You should otherwise just be getting one because you like it. If the price is $240 and you live there 2 more years that’s $10 per month or 30 cents a day. Is that worth it to you?
When you go to sell the house a buyer might walk by and say “this is nice”. It might add to a generally favorable opinion but that is all. It’s actual value will have depreciated anyway

Thats how i think of most inexpensive house purchases. Do i want/need it to make my house function the way i want? Will it help my house sell faster? I spend 3500 on new hardwood in my entry and completely sanded and stained the 1st fl. Its not going to increase the value of my house but when buyers think about the house i want them to say oh i liked the one with the pretty floors. Or i like the one with the touch faucets...ceiling fans....wallpaper in the powder room etc etc
