I understand this house for sale is in Anchorage, Alaska, but I find it offensive to see beautiful animal skins and mounted heads throughout the house. Don’t you?

I'm not a hunter, have never hunted. But I don't find it offensive at all.

Not at all. Hunting and fishing for sport and subsistence is a way of life in many areas of the country. You are free not to display such items in your home. You are not free to abrogate the rights of others to display their hunting and fishing trophies as they see fit. We need to get off this habit of telling others how to live and what to do. Concentrate on your own life, and leave others the freedom to do the same with their lives.

More like, "Welcome to Alaska".

If seeing mounted animals offends you, don't go there. You'll see them everywhere you go.

First house I owned had a previous owner who was a rather 'enthusiastic" outdoorsman. Mounted heads, skins, rifle racks, etc., throughout the house. Made no difference to me, as I knew all that stuff would go with the former owner when they moved out.

It's not my place to judge.

1. You would have trouble living in Alaska.

2. How do you know they are not replicas and not real?

Wow, that's a really attractive house! If you, OP, buy it, you can have the satisfaction of telling the previous owner to get his offensive decorations off your wall.

I'm not an Alaskan, but I understand that hunting is a way of life there. So no, the animal skins don't offend me. And even if they did, I wouldn't worry about it. After all, if I bought the house, they'd be gone.

No lol. I know lots of hunters.

To me, virtually staged photos are more offensive. That stubby fireplace is offensive.
