Well if there is no base to cover up the gap between the flooring and wall, then I disagree that it was cheap. Those would have to be some precision cuts to not have them covered by base.
I do like the wide seats on those bar stools. I usually hate bar stools because they seem to all be made for people with long legs and a fanny that is less than 10" wide. Those actually look comfortable!

Agree. Too sterile for me, but the lack of "detail" and texture makes it difficult to hide little imperfections. They'll stand out like a sore thumb! Takes attention and skill to create all those clean edges.
From what I see I kind of like it because I could put up colorful paintings and throw rugs. I would also put up personalized photos and other personal treasures. I'm not thrilled with the open kitchen, but I could make it work.
