I've found Peter Harris' video on YouTube very helpful. He was an engineer in previous life so his videos were very detailed and contains a lot of valuable information.
Buy a few shares of a REIT.. it is a great way to learn about it.. IGR, GNL, REET... decide what sector's you are most interested in.. retail, office, residential, specialty...
