In my area, I am seeing many houses are reducing asking prices. Seems like people listed with pie in the sky asking prices and are dropping their ask. Some houses are closing after one or two price drops since summer. What are you seeing?

OP, were houses in your area selling at their higher prices a few months ago? You mention that some houses are closing after one or two price drops since the summer, which is why I ask.

Where I live and own property, the market is still pretty hot.

It's really hard to compare our market to your market, when you don't tell anyone WHERE your market is.

So, yeah, we're in the same boat.

Or not.

We just don't know...
