Hello everyone !

My name is Magalie and i'm here today to talk about house insurance in Québec. I know it's not an obligation to have this type of insurance but i really prefer to have one in order to prevent any problem that might occurs.

So, as i'm living near Montréal, i made my own researches regarding house insurance in Québec and i found this website Hellosafe.ca that talks about it and even compare the different insurances of the province.

However, i would like to have the advice from people who already have a house insurance :

- Do you have any tips regarding this type of insurance ?
- Do you advise me an insurance if particular (which one) ?
- What are the most important guarantees ?
- Does the price of a house insurance is high ?

If you have a mortgage it's required by lenders. If you don't have a mortgage you'd be a fool not to have it.

As for all your questions, they can be answered by a local independent insurance agent.
