It actually doesn't look that bad/small on the inside per the pictures.

And while I understand why they left the main bedroom on the top floor to overlook the bathtub down below (for the natural light from the window), that wouldn't work too well for me either. I could get over the 6-foot width. Ideally, if I was going to live in a "skinny" house, I'd like 10-15 feet.
Regular row houses in London are 15 feet wide, maybe.

That's not a great part of London, either. Not awful, but not great.

If I wanted a yacht, I'd get a yacht.

and if i wanted to live in a closet i can find a much cheaper closet than $1.3 million.

i like the line in the video, "it comes with a back garden and a terrace. from which you can see how much wider other people's houses are."

Six feet wide may be a bit extreme but homes in the 10-12 ft wide range are not unheard of.

my first house in Philly was 12'4" wide on the interior. All of the homes on the block were exactly the same size. Because I was doing extensive renovations, the new staircases were required by code to be 3' wide. My living room was just an oversized foyer.

An Extreme Homes episode covered one of those. A servant in a mansion said he'd like a house as wide as the mansion's double front door. The owner said sure and had one built to that exact dimension.

i remember once interviewing for a position in the home of a wealthy family. (The home had a 12-car garage.) Sort of a personal assistant to the wife helping her with projects. The wife did not interview me, but one of the other staff in the home interviewed me. One of the things this staff person told me was "you need to be OK with seeing more money spent on the family dog in a month, than you will earn as a salary in a month."
