Nine days on the market and I got a full price offer signed with good terms.

I listened to what the realtors here gave for advice, interviewed several agents, got good comps, and priced it right.

Sometimes stuff works out. Maybe I got lucky, but maybe things aren't as bad as the media says they are. We'll see.

I think it is bad in certain areas and markets. In the market I am in it was slow the last quarter of last year and the first quarter of this year, but in April it started to pick back up. I am in an area that is growing though. BTW, congratulatons on your success. That is great.

Where are you located? It'd be nice if people would put that in their profiles.

Well give us more details than that - where are you? How is your local market? What were the comps? How did you price? etc....

Even in the worst of markets the old addages still ring true...

If its in a great location, staged to perfection, & priced ahead of the curve it WILL sell..

congrats

Congratulations. We're on 2 weeks, 2 showings, nothing negative. Hope your luck comes this way.

That's great news!
Houses in my neighborhood are selling that fast when priced well below comps (there were a couple). We're thinking we may have to reduce our price, even though we've had a lot of interest and positive feedback. We want to move on!

I agree, you sold it because you were realistic, I just had a home listed and is under contract within one week of being on the market. They had it listed previously with another agent who imho overpriced it - apparently, b/c we lowered it a bit and maximized advertising got the job done.....

congrats

It's not luck and congratulations for forming a phenonemal team with your agent. Assuming this closes properly, consider writing a brief testimonial letter, it will be appreciated.
