IF you have explained to them that you need to use email because of your hearing impairment and they still don't have the "patience to deal with email", I'd say good riddance to that realtor.

However, before I even send the agent my questions via email, I do the following:

1. look at tax assessor information including plat map, flood zones, etc.;
2. Look at previous times house was up for sale, sometimes the earlier listings include pictures of inside (Google is my friend) and often I can find additional information from a previous MLS listing;
3. I either drive past or check on google earth and often both....
That's a lot of unnecessary work when it's a month before you even look at homes. Likely none of them will be available when you actually start looking. Just find a good buyer agent and save yourself some time and stress.

One more time:

It is NOT a month before I look. It is a month, now less, when our daughter comes.

As I have stated more than once, if I find the right property, in the right location, I will not wait for her visit.
I found the right property 2 months ago, but when I informed the realtor that I was prepared to submit a bid, the realtor informed me that it was an auction open only to first responders/nurses under some special govt program. None of us qualified for that program.

I am ACTUALLY LOOKING now. I am not going to go traipsing through someone's home who may not be wearing a mask when they go out, may be exposing themselves to covid, and I am immune compromised. I can "LOOK" from home as I did when I purchased the home I am living in. I didn't see the house until the day after the closing. I've been here for 9 years. My realtor then was fantastic, she has moved out of state. When I found this house, she got me additional pictures and information, and we had a P&S in 4 days from listing. I don't waste anyone else's time, so what if I'm wasting my own - I am retired - and finding a home for them is my job at the moment.

I would prefer to have things set up for them to move in rather than having to find a short-term rental as a temporary home while we continue to look.
