Nice location. On major bus lines, Sammamish River on the back side (no danger of flooding), see the ducks, geese, otters, bald eagles, returning salmon on their way to Issaquah, and beavers play in your backyard. Many parks. Safe. At intersection of two major bike/walk trails. Flat walking to restaurants, TraderJoes/Kroger and nearly complete light-rail (1 km). Microsoft campus about the 1 km but its uphill, but you can catch a couple of buses (every 5-10minutes) that will get there, and the same buses will get you to dtwn Seattle, WU, SeaTac. Very attractive for couple/single/pied-a-terre/downsized retirees

We looked at the complex 6 years ago. Didn't like being on ground floor and didn't want to do stairs for the 2nd-3rd floors.

$374K. $748/sqft, $2548 est monthly payment incl HOA @293, not incl Tax.
for comparison, a 2+2 apt, 825-900 sqft, <4 yo, will go for $3300-2800/mo, same general location. Use Zillow rents feature.
Renting is now less expensive than a purchase in our area,
sold and closed 2/29/2024 @$385,000

Good to see others posting.

* Correction in link did not take from my previous post. So reposting below.

Partial to this style of mid-century home with a huge perfectly shaped blue spruce tree in its front lawn that might be perfect to get the city to remove it free for one of the city's Christmas trees. A decorative white metal fence circles its front lawn as unique in the block.

LARGE NEW DECK in back a plus with 2-levels. Finished basement with kitchen. Upstairs kitchen wood cabinets with dinette patio doors to the deck. Not an open kitchen living room though. Fully modern fancy tile bathrooms and granite/quartz sink tops. One room has a wall of solid mirrors as a closet perhaps? Nice basement laundry.

Solid home for sure updated.
Built in 1970.
1,200 sq/ft without the finished basement.
SELLING Price - $419,000

https://www.redfin.com/IL/Chicago/32.../home/13541913

The streetview
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.9384...8192?entry=ttu

Its back alleyway and garage.

I am including this home as I find it so interesting. This on the Southwest side clearly in its look of housing in a late 50s early 60s neighborhood of Chicago. Could be mix ethnicity area today. This home is a mid-century that they put a topper whole 'nother floor on top. It now looks like a brand new home.

The interior has new looks in lots of white and also some black walls and doors. A unique open floor plan up and downstairs with the hardwood floor having a unique design built in by wood inlay. Another thing about this home is a RIDICULOUSLY HISTORY OF VERY LOW TAXES. I mean $159.00 for 2022 and years back cheap..... Its unique price selling history.

Sep 1991, Sold for $129,000
Jun 2023, Sold for $133,000
Jul 2023, Sold for $180,000

It has had its TOPPER BUILT (like another home second floor) sometime after 2007 the oldest streetview shows the home as one-story yet, but not after that date. Steetview more current with awnings gone now and balcony now gray.

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.7377...1664?entry=ttu

It also has a finished open basement and shows its steel beam at the pole in photos.

Built as a mid-century in 1961.
Now 2,553 sq/ft probably not with the finished basement?
SELLING Price - $419,000

https://www.redfin.com/IL/Chicago/27.../home/13961329

Its latest streetview shows it with the topper, but still had the front awnings from the mid-century and now it is removed and the balcony painted gray.

Back to the Northside and this in Norridge one of the twin suburbs surrounded by the city of Chicago that grew out to the forest preserves that rings the city, but not able to annex these 3 suburbs.

* I am calling this mid-century the --- "MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING HOME ".

It looks like that home from that movie with its front and just needs the Greek statues and over the top yard items..... Corner lot so lot of front lawn side and front with its garage also a short driveway to the garage. Upgrades inside and usual full finished basement in white. Kitchen upstairs and full wood kitchen also in the basement and bath. Great area of mid-centuries and solid home timeless clean look.

Built in 1954
1,962 sq/ft with the basement counted.
SELLING Price - $385,000
My Big Fat Greek Wedding home.

Streetview of side of home with garage second spot for auto or left open on side of home. Clearly an Italian family home. Notice the AMERICAN and ITALIAN flag in its backyard.

Streetview of front
https://www.google.com/maps/@41.9700...8192?entry=ttu

This home another bit older mid-century as another cute little corner home with just before the pale pink bick era and quarry began as to why many mid-centuries are that pale pink/peachy brick as I think now that quarry is done.

The home has its owners meticulously the backyard super nice. The bathroom has very nice upgrades in tile and kitchen with granite and a new kind of sink. A full finished basement as usual for Chicago as another floor.

Built in 1948
Sq/footage not given and would not count the finished basement.
SELLING Price - $ 399,900

https://www.redfin.com/IL/Chicago/52.../home/13498230

Streetview of front street.

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.9752...8192?entry=ttu

Side street view as a corner home showing a nice side lawn and privacy fence around the yard with a side entry detached 2-car garage as usual.

https://www.google.com/maps/@41.9749...8192?entry=ttu

I am throwing this home in as it is SUPER NICE INSIDE. Exterior is not a standard look and not exactly the prettiest looking home on the block, not that it is in disrepair. Just odd. Set way back vs other homes as if the oldest before zoning and no alley in back. A extra-long Chicago lot also by 25 ft longer. Long front where they added a 2 car slab to park on off-street. No garage in back.

Has a nice yard still in back and back covered porch/deck with no alley. Inside has some decor from its traditional 1920s Chicago bungalow look in the built in fake fireplace with bookshelves on each side that was common then. Looks great though.

Curving open staircase Hardwood probably original floors? Very nice kitchen white with dark granite tops and nice deep island/bar. Has its living-room with an open space to its fully enclosed front porch like additional room in front of the home.

Solid not the usual look in a home, but that might keep its taxes a bit lower. Home to its right renovated and to its left 2 mid-centuries though they too have added placement vs the rest of the block where the Chicago uniformity is as usual.

https://www.redfin.com/IL/Chicago/61...home/188929335

Streetview is before the slab built in front for off-street parking and the home next door was still getting redone.
