Default comps?

Interesting.
How would comps work in both those neighborhoods. Looks like it's a way to keep comps high. The county tax rolls will still show that they house was purchased at 1.6 million when actually it was purchased for 2K less that amount?
I bet the people who bought new in either of those neighborhoods are upset now!
