This is the feedback we received from a showing we had yesterday. "Showed extremely well. On buyers short list"...what does "short list" mean when a realtor says that? Is that a blow-of term to just say something and get the seller's agent off their back or can we hope for an offer maybe?
It means they are narrowing down houses and when they create their "to be considered" list they will probably come back for another showing. With so much inventory, you do need to create these short lists and then go back and look again.
We had to go through about 10 of those 'short-lists' before getting an offer. I wouldn't worry about what goes on in the head of the buyers until you get an actual offer.
Yeah we got that feedback a lot! It's definitely not a bad thing.
