I seldom close on a Friday. If something goes wrong you've got to wait till Monday to get it fixed. Especially the last day of the month.
You would think most agents would learn this early in their careers.

We were suppose to close the previous week but for some reason couldn't. We found out late Thursday afternoon that we were going to be able to close on Friday. Not our first choice but still worth it to close before the 1st of the month.

I think come early next week..tomorrow or Tuesday you'll be closing and all will be well with the world.
As for the title company...I know your deal is the most important to you but Fridays and end of the months are very busy. They already had told you the situation..you called, luckily, as your agent hadn't. So, what is the point of calling everyone else? They handled it with the buyer's loan officer/bank, requested a new package for the new closing date, you said they sent it out... what else is there to do? Did your agent email them? I know when I can't get through to anyone and most times even when I can, I email. It's easier for the closer, they email back, I have a written record, they have a written record and can forward it along to anyone else that needs to know the information. Mistakes happen. It will all be over soon and a little blip on the screen of life. Hang in there.

The point is shouldn't they have called our agent when they knew we were not closing?? If I hadn't of happened to call then we would have never knew. My agent and I had both called them several times from late Thursday afternoon (within minutes of them emailing us the closing documents) and all day Friday without them returning our calls. We had both emailed them also. We have read receipts from the emails but they never replied. I did not say they sent out new paperwork!!!! We have no idea what they are doing to correct this or when a new closing will be.
