My brokerage bank bounced a check for $100 K when I was purchasing a home. His secretary screwed up. So they promised to write a letter of apology and explanation to the escrow company. Well, his secretary screwed that one up, too..
Where she wrote "It was not the fault of so and so", she left out the "not", so it read "it WAS the fault of so and so". When I saw that, I was not a happy camper. We survived it, and everything went through fine, and now years later,it's a funny story
Thanks everyone! I followed the advice and let everyone in the know. The title company lady actually called me the next day and asked why I had 2 checks. I told her that my original checked bounced. She replied back that she had no idea that it bounced. She laughed and we both went off our merry ways.

"All's well that ends well."
