It's surely a gem for those who like to live different - not a cookie cutter houses painted in gray.

I think the architecture is unique and pretty. I would just tone down on the interior design after a total renovation.

Looks like a slightly modified Fuller geodesic dome.
Our former neighbors had one. They liked it, but it leaked and it was hard to find contractors in general to work on it.

This 4-bedroom Cyclodome home was designed by the well respected Rochester, VT architect, Robert Melik Finkle and was built in 1969.

But I agree - nowadays most contractors know only simple tasks.
They are most happy to build simple houses with minimum walls.

Looks like there's a lot of water damage and wear and tear. There's the rustic/space age decor that doesn't mesh. There are the windows that look like they leak but don't open and can't be kept clean. Could you even find anyone locally to re-roof the house and seal or replace the windows?

I wouldn't mind, but would need to do a complete gut renovation to get an interior that suits what I like.

It's kind of cool, but how could you make it warm and cozy? It looks cold.

Since you asked it looks more suited for a BDSM Club and Bar. Or a place where a deranged killer would take their prey. Ugh!

There are plenty of good architects and builders out there but they are not in everybody's price range.
This needs a remodel by bic or at least 500k to bring it up to speed. Inside. Then comes the land scape which apparently was designed as UFO landing pad.
