Did you ask them specifically what the issues were which lead you to be rejected? I can only assume it was for a loan application, but you were not specific enough. Just too many factors that could be involved for any person on this forum can tell you why you were rejected. Just curious, have you checked you FICO scores? This type of thing happens from time to time due to various reasons. It is not the same reason for everybody.

I'm gonna guess that, in the history of lending, someone has.

Personally, I just stay inside and stay dry. No problem.

Up to you to have all your financial ducks in a row. Not the fault of the lending institution that you do not.

Lots of people get turned down for mortgages because they have bad credit. Or for a bunch of other reasons.

If you expect to get a mortgage, you must be able to prove that you can and will pay the money back. Nobody is going to give you enough money to buy a house if you have a long history of not paying money that you owe.

That's how you get bad credit. It is because you do not pay your bills.

This happens to buyers all the time. Get with a good lender and get on a credit repair plan. Often times you can get yourself eligible in a year or so.
