I would like to know if we are allowed to make corrections to listings after they have been listed on MLS and other sites?
Do the Flatfee listing brokers allow corrections to listings and post it on all sites ? How about reduction in price? Do they allow this?
How about agent commissions , if revised do they allow to correct it in the MLS?
Would appreciate anyone whos gone throgh these companies . I am going with flatfeemlslisting dot com
Thanks

What were the terms when you signed up? That should tell you what your options are.

If you have not already signed with them you will want to ask them which MLS they are a member of in your area.
That would be the single most important thing I would think.
If they are in the MLS 2 counties or even 1 county away it probably is not a good idea to use them.

All of those companies are very different. I suggest you email them with your questions. They are legitimate questions, so ask the company directly.

Otherwise, I agree with Mike P. Make sure you are on the LOCAL MLS.

I emailed them at 3 o'clock asking if they were in the MLS where I am and have not received a reply yet.

You need to ask them all of these questions. Interview 3 agents with 3 different companies with them being one to make sure you get the right one. I'd suggest making 1 of the 3 a traditional brokerage.

I listed a house last year and the owner showed me the listing agreement he had before with a discount company. They had on there that they charged $250 for every time they made a change in the price in the MLS. This $250 was paid by the seller upfront too!!!

Wow... quickest buck made for a couple of key strokes...
