If you like the house then buy it, the toddler's parents would probably be much happier if someone bought it... so not only are you getting a house you like but you are also helping the parents heal over their tragedy... but thats just my opinion...
If we only knew ALL the strange things that went on inside a house! We would all probably just tear down and build new each time.
Isn't that the truth! I know a home we had back in JAX FL had all sorts of bad stuff going on in it (no deaths.that I know of) But hey we got a screaming deal and the house had great bones and cleaned up great with TLC. There was so much pot or crack, or whatever, smoke residue on the master bedroom walls , we used to joke you could have gotten high licking the walls!
I could never live in a home where a child died tragically. I think places keep some of the "residue" of past events and I could never have my children in that house.
Do you know that in some Asian cultures they make sure to take their children with them when they look at homes to see if they can pick up any bad vibes? Like if the child says Mommy - I dont like that house. - they wont buy it.
Wow. Interesting. Definitely go with your gut! I agree with the Asians!
I would never if I knew this....I have bad luck now as it is! and I know it wouldnt be good in that house!
I did bring my children to the house with me and they didn't act as if anything was weird. We actually liked the house a lot and didn't feel too creeped out but there were pictures of the family everywhere so it was hard to ignore the facts. I do feel very sorry for what has happened to them as it seemed like it must have been a happy home.

Oh, I was hoping you would come back and post. So, what do you think? Are you going to place an offer?
I would prefer to think that the little boy's sweet spirit would happily watching over vs a creepy thought.
