Hi all, it's been some time since i've posted. no longer have access to the site at my new job and i no longer have a computer at home (once the house sells i'm getting myself a brand new one). yes my house is still on the market. i've had 2 really low, lowball offers. nice to get offers but these are from people that cannot even afford to go any higher. crazy i never thought about looking at home completely out of my price range. i looked at homes that i knew even at their asking price i could afford even if i had no intention of offering asking i knew i could still afford asking. these people are looking $50 and $60K outside of their asking (as in no mortgage company in their right mind right now would give them a loan). so i'm paying two mortgages but it's not that bad. yes would i like my house to sell so i could take all that extra money and put it in my new house but i look at it this way every month i'm paying down my mortgage on my first house so that ultimately when it does sell i'll get that back and it will be nice to have all those extra tax write offs at the end of the year (which with hubby's relocation package we'll need i've just learned).
i hope everyone had a great (and safe) 4th of july. i'm hoping to be back on the site at least 2 or 3 times a week (maybe i should change my name since i'm not longer "surfing at work"). have a great night all!
thanks for the update. I know what you mean about lowball offers. A big disappointment! Our house was listed at $475 and we received one offer of $350! Hope you sell soon
So great hearing from you again. I wondered where you went.
