No but good agents don't want to deal with rude clients.

THANK YOU THANK YOU Sarah!!

I just wanted to update everyone here. I decided to go with our realtor that we used when we bought down here. I didn't realize she did Central and North Jersey too. I am so happy. So dilemma solved. She got RIGHT back to me too. She said gather up ANY and all listings we want to see (with her listings or ANYONE else's). She asked if we had a realtor for down this neck of the woods and I said no. She is taking on BOTH selling of our home and helping us buy a new house! YAY!

I didn't realize she took on more than a few areas so I am a happy camper.

What makes me rude to an agent? Calling them and giving them 2 different MLS listings and wanting to see THEIR FEATURE listings? How is that rude? Sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder.

Build a bridge and get over it. Have a great day!

I find it highly odd that you called 4 agents and NONE of them returned your phone calls or emails. One yes, but 4, is odd. I just think if the way you communicate on this forum got expressed in any of your messages to agents, it would not surprise me that they did not call you back.

You really need to work on your communication style. It is quite hostile.

Hahaha... I don't think people are hostile to "see" a listing... I think its more if the realtor can make a quick buck then they will go for it... if it requires hard work (i.e. requires more work then the simple "here you are") then they will likely abandon a buyer.... path of least resistance... I tell the number of conditions I need for a piece of property and I think the realtor gets to thinking, this is a lot of work... eh, I'll just leave it... hopefully if "they" find something then they contact me... I think some realtors just want to make the easy buck without doing much...

Last time I relocated I contacted more than a dozen agents. I got a whopping 1 response. The message I left was that I was a cash buyer and interested in your listing #xxxxxxx. Please call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx to set up an appointment. 1 response. Fortunately that agent turned out to be awesome and I used her not only to buy but when the time came to sell she got the listing.

The OP's situation is not unique. It appears the Realtors and agents on this forum are in the minority.

I hear you. I ended up going with my realtor that helped me buy my current home so we will have her be our selling agent as well as helping us buy! She responded to me in minutes and called! and even emailed!

So, this was an agent who already had a history with you that responded instantly, it would seem.

Yes, Texas and very happy to accomodate me. God knows what the others might have brought! It wasn't a good start if they couldn't even pick up a phone or email someone back. Pretty simple request!
