Realtor has put sign in front yard, house clean, now I guess I just wait for showings like everyone else! The market is slow in Ft. Wayne like everywhere else, but being positive. House priced in middle of comps. I hope we can get a few showings before the month is over. I think we are going to wait a couple of weeks to see if we need an open house. Wish me luck!

Best of luck-it is a slow market, hopefully you'll be posting good news soon.

I'm sending good thoughts your way. Perhaps you'll catch a buyer who wants to
get into a house before school starts.

Is your house in Ft Wayne proper? I am looking out towards Huntington.

I think everyone is moving to NC! It's probably still cheap compared to a lot of places, but prices seem to still be going up (unlike the rest of the country)...seems that way to me at least!

Overall, I think prices are probably coming down even in NC, a tiny bit, but we do still have some hot areas that seem to be having no trouble whatsoever.

Thanks everyone. I am not leaving Fort Wayne, just downsizing. Racelady, my house is in Ft. Wayne proper, but good luck to you in Huntington!

The reason I am not crazy about an open house, seems to get just neighbors just wanting to see the house, but we will do one if slow traffic.

It is a bit late to sell before school starts, but maybe we can get someone already in the school district who needs more room.
