I am hoping to buy my first home as soon as the right one comes along. I am being patient and waiting for the right thing to come along. Of course, I have only been looking for 3-4 weeks.
However, someone mentioned the election and she hopes I find something before then, because everything could change.
What does the election have to do with it? What can change? Should I be concerned about not finding the right situation before then?

I hate politics and do not keep up with things, so I am truly confused about this statement.

TIA!

The election won't have much if any effect on the state of housing anywhere other than DC. Just keep looking for the right thing.
