Each state regulates what it takes to be able to take the state's license exam.
Some state have reciprical arrangements with other states.

Some states have reciprocal agreements with neighboring states, but all differ - you would have to check in the specific state's laws to find out. I wish you the best.

If you're from a neighboring state where the laws are similar, I'd just go try to take their test without bothering with any school time. They may insist on some classes approved by their agency though.
I studied for a CA license back in 79 and then moved to WA state. I passed their exam without any further study.
