Thanks everyone for the prayers and well wishes. I will keep you posted what the doc has to say on Friday. One reassuring thing is , it is the same group of docs who take care of the Pittsburgh Steelers, so I know I am in good hands.

Boocake....the days will go quickly and I will keep you in my prayers for an uneventful closing.

Well, y'all know about the problems I have been having with my neck and shoulder. Today---worse pain imaginable again. The Sports Medicine group squeezed me in today...took some X-rays and then after looking at those, the doc sent me for an immediate MRI. Afterwards he said "you have an appt with a spine specialist on Friday. You have bad spinal stenosis (I'm only 47) and you have a bulging disc with a pinched nerve. You might have to have surgery". So needless to say, I've been pretty upset all day. I don't want surgery. I hope the spine specialist has alternatives for me on Friday. I am feeling pretty dopey from the pecocet they put me on for pain, so won't be on here too long tonight.

Prayers coming from me to you.
Lorrie

Judy, so glad you are doing well. Think you're being smart about the plumbing. Throwing good money after bad and all that.

Texas...sorry that you are hurting. Hope the Percocet is taking the edge off so you can get comfortable.

Spoke with a neighbor who owns a title search/abstract company, and they are getting busier with both refinancing of mortgages, and with sales.
