Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. And thank you, CrazyMa, for also wishing my daughter a happy birthday. I have to go birthday shopping for her today.
Hammy,
I'm sorry things went bad. But I agree that maybe it was for the best that it happened now and not further into things.
Have to share-I am sooooo excited. Just got a call my dress is in for the wedding. Monday I go try on and Tues meet seamstress for alterations if needed. I am beyond hyped.
You know you can't win- some say buy ,some say don't. Personally I don't give a rats hiney if someone does or doesn't, according to the gospel of whatever RE guru or self made expert's advice they are sucking. Your choices are YOUR choices and when you point a finger of blame for mistakes, then you got fingers pointing back at ya. I DO think buying a home can be a good idea, as long as it is approached realistically and with much thought and willingness to compromise on certain things. If you can only 'afford' tuna, buy tuna, not lobster (And someone somewhere thinks I am whining....nah- I accept my mistakes, but there is nothing wrong with what if and it woudl be nice......I digress....phooey.)
People do what they want to do. Why do you think we are mostly in the economic mess we are in? It seems as if a majority does not care about their actions and how they ultimately affect themselves, much less others. It all goes back to people getting greedy and thinking they deserved stuff just because. And mortgage companies and the guvment played along. And All these bonuses for 'top' executives...WHY? what the sam hill did they do that was so freaking great? Re invent the light bulb?? Can't they be satisfied with a damn paycheck and benefits to begin with, like the peons under them?
Personal accountability seems to have gone out of vogue along with the hula hoop.
Sorry I just felt like ranting. I can't believe America as a whole has gotten so dumb. No wonder we are the laughing stock of much of the world. Our priorities are so f'ed up. I am beginging to agree with my dad. He says what we need is a 'good' depression to force people to learn to live within their means or do without, and force them to think outside the box. He was a young teen in the 30's and what he went thru then sure helped mold him into the wise man I hold him to be today.
Okay off the box. now i can breathe.
Hope you guys are good. It is like 70 degrees here, but bet we are gonna get one heck of a snowstorm soon........that is the way it goes

hey all just got the memo! all I can say right now is it isnt worth the time to argue. Ignorance is bliss! As we have all witnessed first hand there are alot of ignorant people out and about, there are alot of people that love to create chaos, and then their are those that can only see one side and will always have to have the last word for the gratifacation they feel. For those you must feel a little bit of pity, when you have to be on the attack to make yourself feel better.
