Thats so funny painter. I also needed it after watching for an hr FNC and trying to figure out just what is in the new so called stymulus bill that makes any sense? Nothing that I can see will help.
I will write a bill and it is very simple.
Lower taxes on all that PAY taxes and don't give us a small tax credit that we will not spend. If I know that my taxes will go down I will spend more.
Lower inventory of homes on the market by giving the $15,000 tax credit.
All the other things in the packgage like schools and healthcare should be in a seperate bill that should be voted on. They do not belong in this new bill.
I am so darn fed up.
Just heard that 30 mil is to protect a mouse in CA. I quess a mouse is more impotant then us.
Lorrie, you should run for government!!!
Golddust, Utah is my favorite state, i think it is absolutely beautiful. I've been north, east, and some south. My happy place is actually sitting on red rock, with the blue sky and warm sun above.
Painter, have ya gotten dressed yet??!! hehe
Crazyma are you ok, I don't think you've checked in all day?
What's the deal with the 15,000 and or the 7,500...did it really get shot down? I watched Fox and CNN for awhile and then world news and all they talked about was the x billion amt stimulus package wth?
[quote=Chickrae;7424500]It will be interesting to see what happens when the final word is in on the 15,000.
Yes, and I am not specifically hearing it being addressed.
I do feel bad for the people of that little town in Oklahoma. Yeah a day off is nice, but since I am part time I don't get paid for it, but I do feel lucky we were safe for sure.
Poor dears, I saw the story on world news tonight.
The Grand Canyon is 250 miles from Las Vegas. You should go for sure.
You would absolutely love Zions National Park...it's about 45 minutes from Washington/St George area. I am sure dogmom will agree the red rocks and beauty there are spectaculor. It's worth a visit for sure. The northern part of Utah has beautiful mountains too, then you drive south and its a whole different terraine.
Sounds like a plan...hope to do it some day.

That sounds like a good place for sitting Stoy. If you don't mind sharing I don't recall where you are now and where do you hope to go west?

Stoymonkey - where do you live? did you used to live in Utah? I love the red rocks too. Have you ever been to slick rock down by moab....a bikers and hikers dream.
My favorite place is on top of the Wasatch Mountains on a mountain covered with white powdery snow, ready to ski down it!
I can't sleep so watching house hunters and downloading pictures. Our driving bridge was flooded so waded through water to the walking bridge to get to the other side. Hopefully no more rain tonight.
Chickrae, you sound like my brother. He's lived out there for about 8 years. I still live in Pa, soon Co- 4 corners area. I've done lots of road trips around Utah but the only NP i havent been to in Utah was zion. Hopefully later this year!
