That is true, Shelly. You need Microsoft Office for Mac. It has Entourage (Outlook), Powerpoint, Xcel and Word for Mac in it.

Maybe it's my computer which is all screwed up right now...but it still will not let me look at the house.

I am sadly the oldest by 5 min and i have never lived it down.

About family my husbands oldest brother and his wife after my MIL died stopped talking to us and my husbands youngest brother and his wife. He felt we should have given him the house(we split the sale three ways and he and his wife lived in that house until they left it in the middle of the night) Money problems. He does not know this but with my MIL's car we sold it to one of her friends with the understanding that he would give us and youngest bil checks and oldest brother cash. We then tore up the checks.
In the past 15 years we have not spoken but we are very close to their daughter and her husband. When we first moved to CA she came a year later and stayed with us. We also when her daughter was in her early teens gave her my piano and she is now in collage study music.
In the past two years when older brother found out that hubby almost died from blood clots in both of his lungs he called and said he would come over. Gary who just got out of the hospital and was very sick told me that he didn't want to see him. When Gary had part of his lung removed in 2005 we heard nothing from them.
I have begun to E mail him starting about a year ago. His wife and I were always good friends so my last e mail to him was asking how she was and if she could e mail me. Her response was she was on the computer all day long and didn't have time but she would have Gary's oldest brother on a need to know what I e mailed him. When i read that I was livid how dare she. So I e mailed her back saying when i worked 12 hr days i always had time for her daughter and her and would ans either one of their phone calls even though all I wanted was to eat and go to sleep. Never got a response and will not e mail her husband anymore.

Family

No. Microsoft made Office for Mac. But it's different than the one for Windows. You have to buy it for Mac.

How do you like your Mac, Lorrie? It takes some getting used to, huh? Sometimes I make it harder than it needs to be! I just keep thinking, It can't be this easy. Most everything is click and drag. So user friendly, but definitely different.

Know of nothing for poisen ivey, but it is some nasty stuff. If the oils get on your clothes it can "live" for a yr. so be sure that the clothes you were wearing and anything you came in contact with goes into HOT water to wash. Or you can get it again just by contact.
I will not go into the brother idiot thing but believe me I do understand. After awhile of putting yourself out to make amends well it just stops after awhile. Mine still hasn't said how the sil is doing after surgery, or what the drs are saying about the cancer. Thus aka brother idiot.
Well it is clouding up but I dont believe it is gonna get as bad as they said, at least we will get thru the day with out the storm.

UPDATE: The Mockingbird, is no longer a problem after a week of battles. My daughter ran it out of the garage and was in the barn as it sat watching her and a Hawk swooped down and grabbed it. Now I feel bad for chasing the thing off, all that is left is feathers.

Painter how sad. How are you doing? I do hope the storm passes you buy. You have had enough storms. It is supposed to rain here for 2-3 days. Enough of the rain I want Sun.
