Does anyone knows what government office monitors these Vacation Rental Management companies, I see in the Orlando area of Florida?
I rented a house for 5 weeks, paid close to 3K, with a $300 returnable-security deposit, and the owner has refused to refund us the security because "we did not leave the premises according to his standards." We left it better than we found it. This is just a gross excuse to defraud us of our money.
He resides in England!!!! We need to expose this THIEF, so that others do not fall prey to him, and his tactics. Thank you,
If the property is represented by a management company, your beef is with then not the owner. Have you met with a company representative to show you the documented claims (if they are documented that is)? Do not let them lay it off on the owner, they must have a contract so they are the party to deal with.
