LOL! YAY!!! Just goes to show that the desirable areas are not buyers markets....But I thought this article made some good points about the psychology of price reductions as well as the breakdown of how many listings have had reductions, etc.

The list acknowledges the top spots where a meaningful number of unsold homes have not reduced their prices.

The data is hosed because repositioning is just as likely to appear as a new listing as it is a price adjustment. Too bad there are no national averages on the number of new listings that are reguritated stale donuts.

It fools no one. Agents know and so do serious buyers focusing on specific market segments.
