Appraisals for tax purposes, if they are to reflect true market value, would utilize the same reasoning and market evidence in their appraisals to determine a property's taxable or market value. The methodology is a little different since they use mass appraisal techniques. But if the value of the subject is impacted by power lines, their appraisals should also reflect that.
