Well, we had the house on the market for about 2 months and it went under contract yesterday. We started out asking for 155K for our 5 bedroom 2 bath home in Colorado Springs. We brought the price down earlier this week to 149,900 and we had 2 offers this Saturday. We ended up settling on 153K, so not bad. Our agent had said homes were selling within 3 months and the market was doing pretty good considering the number of short sales. So, yippee! Hopefully everything else goes great and we close on time on the 28th of this month!

Congrats!

I am so jealous!!!! I can't wait until we can come up with enough cash reserves to lower our price YET AGAIN. As is, we'll be bring about $16k top closing.

And we have another house yet to put on the market. Ugh.

Congrats Froggie.

Be extra careful that you get full loan approval before considering setting the closing time, especially the end of the month.

Congrats!
I agree the market in Colorado Springs is moving - esp in that price range!
Best wishes
