WOuld you believe my MIL's cat was found!She will get it back after she gets back to her place when it is fixed.. She has NOTHING left except the clothes on her back basically and the cat must have 9 lives! She couldn't get it in time when they were evacuating the seniors.....
Supposed to get a ton of snow late Fri. afternoon... 6-10 inches coming Fri. nite here and then another 2-4! Sat...stocking up and going grocery shopping in a bit!
Lace- it's time to go to the German B. for real chicken salad! I will go tomorrow morning for it! Prayers for Mr. L...
Shel- I told Mia about your ear too! the drops seem to be working...and I gave her a nasal congestant this am... She lit up when I told her her Auntie Shelly has ear drops too lol...
Joyous-- you must be off and running this am.........any more about HHI?How is everything going? Did you have cookies for breakfast today?LOL>.Breakfast of Champions?

Mourning all....NJ thanks for asking but I dont think she will be now. After a whole day of back and forth yesterday the gal pulled up the property tax site and the arial from 6 yrs ago after Ivan blew threw was still up showing a tarp on my roof. So she went from being so "excited to find a great home" to I don't want to live in the path of hurricanes. I say she best move North then....anyway the agent is trying to calm her down now and explain that I am not in a "path" that the tarp was from a twister spawned from the cane....suppose to hear later today. Not to hopeful....so same story different day....................
Painter! What! You mean to tell me this woman did not know about the weather in FL? I am betting she calms down, got spooked..shoot she would croak if she pulled up a map of the San Andreas fault and saw I lived a few blocks from it, or all the fault lines in Southern CA, or the tornado tracks in the midwest, everywhere you go there is SOMETHING. AW. NUTS..Hope your agent can calm her down good grief
NJ, I did not know our MIL's kitty was mission, oh so glad they found it..to lose everything even your pet seems like just too much..one blessing for her!
Kristine, glad Hershey seems ok, I think I might get him checked out anyway. Just my opinion as a Dogmom...hope baby N. is feeling better and you are able to sleep. I remember those days so well....
Tex, not bad place for Watson to poop..like Kristine said, fertilizer..good to get him to go in one area...my dogs seem to think the backyard is their place to do whatever wherever. BAH.
Good morning campers - having my 2nd cup of Joe since yesterday only had 1/2 cup 'cause assistant IM'd me 'come to office now' lol I was half asleep all day - but boy had sugar rush last night lol Decided not to be stingy so gonna take 'some' of Annie's cookies to the office (notice the emphasis on 'some' lol) then freeze some for later. This girl will be eating cookies for a while and lovin' every minute of it.
Lacey, still chuckling about Mr. L. and meds but sounds like he's on an upward mend and I'm so happy about that. Great docs, great nurses taking care of him - YOU. I'd say that's one lucky man and thank God they know what's up, took care of it so nothing but good from here out
Shel, LMAO about Watson - I have chickens that use my flower bed to lay their eggs which of course I give back to my neighbor since they're her chickens - at least you're getting fertalizer like Kristine mentioned, and hey it's free! LOL you back to work tonight? I'm so frickin' tired will probably have 3 cups of coffee this morning that is unless I get a "COME NOW IM" So Shredder's lol new thing is when I'm, well, first thing in the morning - HE drags my fleece jacket from the chair I've thrown it in to put on my lap so HE lol can curl up and be comfy. I still think Carl wanted 'his' grass so much he prayed real hard that it would fall through so he'd get his wish lol hope you're feeling better and those boxes aren't still 'staring' at you lol those cookies were great and had several of them, put the ones with chocolate in freezer so when I need a 'fix' I can pull out a box and gorge myself lol the rest I put in the fridge and will do the zip lock thing on those tonight so I can have a mixture of all of them for this week, yet more later. YUMMY for the girls tummy!
Annie, has the plague left the house yet? Can't believe whole family got sick then Scott got the big P. Glad you have some of that wine left so when snow hits this weekend, you all can enjoy. We are getting that same snow storm...headed off to the store in a bit to get some milk, iced tea, mint tea bags and bread. I think I'm having french toast tonight--it won't be Carl Boyaks but it will be good none the less.

Hi all-home early as Mr. L wanted me safe-roads are slick and will be really icy later. Stopped and picked up a California Kitchen white pizza, hamburger patty for tonight.
My upper back is so sore and I just know it's the tension from the other day catching up on me.
Well-Mr. L went to the throne today and the doc was happy! Everything's working.
I was there when they removed packing and re-packed and can we say UGH. HUGE hole in his abdomen-looks like opened pursed lips and a smaller one under it, next to that a row of staples. He won't be home til those "holes' close completely.
Our reg doc came to visit as he was doing scopes today. He told Don I called him Monday in a panic only cause I wanted single men lined up if he didn't make it.

Definitely do that - nothing like being snowed in for 2 days with nothing but 1 package of pancake mix, a Rott and a 12 pack of beer in fact Heiden was starting to look reaaaaaaaaaaal good when one of my neighbors came by on a snowmobile to take me to grocery store They didn't have much, but a heck of a lot more than what was in my house (course this was when I was young and THOUGHT I was heading out for Thanksgiving at my moms - They still talk about that blizzard)

:: quietly typing yes :: already have 2 or 3 bags in the freezer of yours, one in fridge and brought 1 to the office. EVERYONE said they were fabulous girl. My assistant eyes just lit up when she ate one (then she grabbed like 5 more when she was racing out the door to go to municipality lol) I showed her the pics of the kids, Watson, Barb and Carl, drawings and thought SHE was going to cry. HHI going good lol now to just get the primary house done but we're almost there then a big Whew!
needless to say, Naiky still gone with truck so that's why I'm posting from office. too dang tired to work.

Carol that's just nuts - you and Barb must have posted after I did 'cause then I hit emails. Where you're at is nothing like other areas of FLORIDA. Like Barb said, that would be like going to CA and saying, oh they have earthquakes here? A good agent CAN calm down buyers like that - believe me I've had enough of them freak out to know, so it's not over yet. Mind meld prayers, girls.

Kristine I totally agree with that - with my Albert he was having some problems, then was fine - I mean perfect for a couple of months. Then it came back but worse, took to local vet who checked him out, gave me antibiotics, no salt diet, etc. and said he should be better by morning and if not to call. Well next day he was worse - so we call vet and she says to get him to cat specialist down in David. Specialist said I should have brought him in the minute he started having problems, which was months before and he would still be alive Anyway, guess I'm just saying better to be safe than sorry - I still miss him
Hope you enjoyed your coffee and I sure enjoyed mine (between dunking yours and Annie's cookies in it)

Yee Haw - Mr. L. sat on the throne Sucks about the packing and stuff and sounds gross, BUT they will heal. That's a riot that your regular doc told him you were lining up single men LOL Your husband just sounds like an absolute doll AND has a sense of humor. LOVE IT!

So today it reached 36 degrees---HEAT WAVE!! So I got dressed and took Watson to the park. He was in dog heaven!! He was so excited, he didn't know which way to walk on the trail. He met all kinds of new friends...some didn't seem too friendly to him, but he tried to make nice anyways!! We walked the trail twice. He is so tired right now...sleeping by my feet!
