It's funny I would suspect the MLS List only type brokers never show their clients how many listings are terminated or expired without ever selling.

Have you ever run a list of their listings that never sell ? There is usually a large number verses the number that do sell.

They forget to tell about those little details. (and sellers fail to ask)

A great many sellers are "testing the market." They will "Entry Only" list for 30-60-90 days and turn it over to a professional if the slap it on the MLS listing fails.
