And, while I'm excited, and scared to death as well. We settled on an offer almost exactly like the first, we have to pay a little more of their closing costs (which irks me because people who buy should be paying their own costs...I paid them when I bought the house!) than the previous buyers but it didn't matter too much. Since the first contract fell thru on the buyers inability to secure financing, even though they had a pre-approval letter from their bank, I'm afraid to get too excited. I'm not worried about the inspection or really the appraisal since we were under what most are selling for in the first place, due to our need to move with my husbands job. Is anyone else having trouble with buyers financing. I guess I want to know ours was a fluke last time and that this time will be different.
I know how you feel. It is hard to really feel comfortable until you have the check deposited, but I am excited for you and hope it all goes smoothly. Congrats on the contract!
