I think consumers often just want a "reality check" to know if their concern is even valid.

I also think they probably go back better armed with information after getting some answers at CD. So it makes perfect sense to me, though I do agree there are some instances where people could be a bit more self-reliant.

Exactly, i'm with you on your thinking here. Being an REAL ESTATE ASSISTANT for over 12 years, i have seen it all, and it ain't all pretty. Some agents are in the business for the Money, Some, and some truly get great satisfaction from helping there clients. Ask ASK ASK AWAY, As far as the pictures, that is a ploy to get you to either call or want to see the property, they don't care what the pictures looks like, and that is coming from a realtor friend. Go to the broker, if they have no answers, i would walk away too many good properties out there right now, with no major issues.

"Home needs structural work and cosmetics throughout. Yellow tagged by the city. MUST USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN SHOWING."

I'll second that OMG

Is it possible that there may have been a hot tub in the clean cut hole, and the sellers removed it and may not have filled it in yet?
