I live near Seattle (actually in Kirkland) and am looking for a place/resource for real estate courses. Mainly looking to do this to learn more about the industry (and possibly work my own deals) and not necessarily work full-time since I already have a career (dentist). If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

A local community college may have pre-license classes. I encourage my investor clients to get the knowledge. If they don't take the test, they do not have to disclose they are licensed, because they are not.

It's the knowledge that makes money, not the license.

I actually learned very little about real estate from my course. Like anything else, OJT is the best teacher... Now saying that, I took an online course, learning only what I needed to pass my test...

I 2nd the community college option. That's what I did. You get the benefit of class interaction with your instructor and other students.
