Thanks! I've found a few recipes my mom used to make. There sure are lots of recipes for rhubarb and liver.

There are a lot of recipes I've never even heard of and some are very old. I remember my Grandma & Great grandma making some of these.
I thought it was a really good site.

Old cook books can have a lot of interesting and (nearly) forgotten recipes and ideas.

I like the old books because they list items that I am likely to have around the house. The food section in today's newspapers tends toward dishes with 15-25 ingredients, many of them exotic, and also the use of $2000 - $3000 worth of high end and professional kitchen appliances (which I don't have in my small galley kitchen).

Cool, maybe I'll find a few of those recipes i haven't made in years because I lost them.

there's even a recipe for fish bait. I don't fish, though.
