You forgot I have a pressure cooker, so everything is almost ready...just waiting on the rice.
SO, I cooked the black-eyed peas, added tomatoes, garlic, peppers. For spices, I used onion, Italian seasoning, red pepper, salt, and CURRY powder! Tasted it, and it is good!
OMG can't believe you added curry powder! I was right on your ingredient list because it's so close to my black eyed pea and ground meat curry! It's pretty much as you described but I add fresh onion and brown some ground beef if I want a meat meal. For future reference, it's really good with some wilted spinach or other cooked greens.
Yea, it really was a good meal, and I will try some other variations with the curry powder!
And, I also made the little egg and bread things this morning! I like those too.
