Are there some simple things that I can add to noodles once they are boiled to make it an edible dish? I am thinking tomato sauce(or paste maybe) or things like that. Spices maybe?

When you say "noodles" I assume you mean egg noodles as opposed to pasta.

I like noodles with butter, parsley and bread crumbs. Also with olive oil, sauteed shallots and shrimp. Also with tuna chunks (real tuna) and parmesian cheese. Put the cheese on when its really hot and cover for a few minutes and the cheese will melt.

Tuna fish with a little chopped celery, onion and pickles, plus mayo and extra pickle juice, yum!

Italian dressing - good as is. Or mix in cooked chicken, broccoli florets, etc.

Butter and parmesan, sometimes I add in some garlic powder. A favorite with the kids.

Add a can of mushroom soup and tuna for a quick casserole (many years ago I used to make this with Kraft Mac and Cheese).

Thanks Caligula. Can i confess? I make the breadcrumbs by taking stale baguette, drizzling with evoo, sprinkling with lawry's garlic salt and put in the oven until bone dry then crush in a bag. The bread crumbs are better than the noodles.

LOL.. i think the correct question is what can't I add to noodles.

If I have any leftover beef I like to chop it up, can of french onion soup and some egg noodles.
