I have a cupcake recipe that calls for a cube of butter? Does anyone know if that is the same as a stick of butter? I have seen people refer to it as 2 tablespoons but then someone else said it was one stick of butter.

A Cube of butter is a quarter of a stick of butter, that is to say 1oz.
As a rough guide 2 tablespoons equals 1 cube.
