Penne with Asparagus, Spinach and Bacon (ingredients, chicken, black pepper, onion)

Cook pasta as directed. Drain and keep warm. Cook bacon in skillet until crispy, remove from skillet, crumble and set aside. Cook onion in bacon drippings for 1 minute then add asparagus and saute 1 minute. Add broth and bring to boil. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until asparagus is tender. Stir this mixture into the pasta add spinach and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Toss well and top with remaining cheese and bacon crumbles.

I too will try this recipe. Btw, I always thought that the thinner asparagus taste so much better than the fat ones j/s
