Does anyone have a recipe for garlic fudge? A friend gave me some she bought but didn't get the recipe. It was good.
Thank you.

I'm a big garlic user and a definite fan of chocolate, but to combine the two? Chili and chocolate yes... but you never know until you try and we're food adventurous!

I've heard of (and made) Mexican Fudge (basically cheese and green chilies) - but not Garlic Fudge.

I'll bet they have it at the Garlic Capitol of the World (http://www.gilroygarlicfestival.com/history.html - broken link)

Yeah. I guy I worked with has a daughter who went to some garlic festival, perhaps the one you mention. She tried garlic ice cream and loved it. You know, if you just clarify garlic you can detect a sweetish taste there. I would definitely try it.

Thank you all. But I have not yet found the recipe. When I do I will post it.
It has a sweet taste yet you can taste the garlic as an after taste

Perhaps you could contact the above garlic festival folks and ask if they could give you a lead?
They give their email on their website:
