I have a whole collection of those soft cover recipe books that you find along the check-out line at grocery stores. My MIL was an impulse shopper and if it looked good, she bought it. My problem is keeping them in some kind of order on the bookcase. I have grouped them with my hard-cover books on the same subject, but they still tend to fall over in a heap. Years ago, Betty Crocker, I think, made some slipjackets that would hold 10 ot 12 such books. Surely I am not the only one with this problem. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on said jackets or any slipjacket the same size? This is such a well-informed group of cooks so I am confident someone has a solution to my problem.
Some of those little gems contain the best recipes! I put mine in clear plastic sleeves and place sleeves in a 3 ring binder. Organize them by sections (desserts, main dishes, etc.).
I *think* those booklets (I don't won any) are about the same size as sewing patterns? I have some plastic storage boxes for my patterns (bought at Joann's)
